SCOPE OF WORK
Aerison were contracted to design, fabricate, assemble and supply six (6) integrated acoustic enclosure packages, to suit a caterpillar C175-16 genset and operating equipment.
The scope included:
- Design, fabrication and supply of baseframe and support structure with a weather proof acoustic enclosure, including ventilation louvres / dampers, inlet filtration and cowls to IP56.
- Installation of generator set and radiator.
- Design, fabrication, supply and installation of ancillary equipment, including 316 stailness steel muffler, double skinned 1000L fuel tank and ventilation fans.
- Design, fabrication, supply and installation of ventilation system.
- Design, fabrication, supply and installation of cooling system and fuel system.
- Fabrication, supply and installation of stainless steel 316 Piping, pipe supports fittings and valves, with ANSI #150 class flanged connection points for external interfaces.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
- Engineered to meet the client’s specific requirements.
- Fully compliant with Bechtel / Chevron Safety in Design (SID) requirements.
- Modular package enclosure fully structurally certified with removable lifting lugs.
- Enclosure noise tested and certified to 85dB (A) at 1 metre.
- Enclosure designed with integrated fire detection, VESTA (Very Early Smoke Detection System) and fire suppression (Misting) system.
- Fully integrated bund and external drain points within the baseframe.
