Client: Crown Towers
Location: Crown Towers – Perth
Project Duration: March 2015 – October 2015
Service Type: Acoustic – Power Generation
SCOPE OF WORK
- Design, manufacture, supply and assemble two (2) noise attenuated packages for two standby diesel generation systems. The package was inclusive of cooling package, ventilation system, fuel system, inlet/outlet attenuation as well as full package testing.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
- Custom built, modified 40” high cube container design to suit a MTU 16V40000G63 genset
- Acoustic enclosure engineered to maintain operational efficiencies of the diesel genset whilst achieving a sound pressure level below 71dB(A) at 1.5m above grade at a distance of 1m
- Engineered base frame, incorporating an internal 6000L diesel fuel tank
- Forced ventilation system designed to maintain internal enclosure temperatures below a 10°C rise from external ambient temperatures up to a maximum of 50°C.
