What we do

For odorous compounds, we can remove or destroy soluble and volatile chemicals in off-gas systems across a range of industries, while our acoustic treatment systems can reduce noise levels from a noisy control valve to large-scale gas compressor or power generation facilities.

Wet system dust collection

We can design and fabricate reverse pulse and reverse air baghouse systems for almost every dust application and in almost any size required. These systems are effective for all dust types to below 0.1 µm dust particle size, can achieve emission levels of below 5mg/m3 and can operate at temperatures up to 250°C with specialised filter bags:

The reverse pulse or jet pulse baghouse uses compressed air to provide a short pulse of high-pressure air down the centre of the filter bag, releasing part of the dust cake that has built up on the outside of the filter media, and dropping it into the dust hopper below.
The reverse air baghouse uses a moving fan to provide a high volume and low-pressure airflow down the filter bag to release part of the dust cake that has built up on the outside of the filter media.

Our dry dust disposal solutions range from dry return of dust via rotary valves or double dump valves, to engineered solutions using batching/continuous systems, belt and screw conveyors or slurry systems.

Dry system dust collection

We use a range of scrubbers to provide cleaning systems that collect soluble dust and other particles that are easily formed with water:

The low energy Multi-vane scrubber handles low dust loads and is a very effective mist elimination section.
The medium energy Dynamic scrubber uses the action of the fan to complete the majority of the scrubbing. Larger particles are removed via a two-stage scrubbing action.
The high energy, high efficiency Venturi scrubber uses a high velocity venturi section where water is sprayed or injected to form small water droplets.
The high efficiency chemical absorption scrubber uses the counter-current action of air passing through water droplets containing chemicals to enable the chemical reaction to take place. We can also provide a water treatment system to assist with the cleaning of wastewater.

Our wet dust disposal solutions range from stand-alone slurry systems to fully integrated sumps or intermediate slurry tanks and disposal pump systems.

Greenhouse gas reduction

Aerison can provide systems proven to provide up to 99.9% destruction efficiency of a range of known greenhouse gases, while using minimal energy resources.

We use RTO technology patented by CTP, including Catalytic and Regenerative Oxidation systems, to destroy a range of Volatile Organic Compounds using high temperature oxidation (850°C). We provide destruction of other soluble odorous compounds using absorption towers or packed bed scrubbers.

We also use RTO systems to provide options for the removal and destruction of the Ventilation Air Methane (VAM) gases which are produced as a byproduct of underground coal mining.

Acoustic engineering

We specialise in the design and fabrication of acoustic power generation enclosures for diesel and natural gas driven engines that can take the form of a drop over enclosure built and fitted out in our workshops and delivered to site for installation.

We can also assist with packaging the skid mounted compressor unit and acoustic treatment for delivery to site in a completed format. For larger sized units, we can provide easy to install panels with a structural frame for construction on site.

In addition, we can design, fabricate and install silencers as part of our turnkey project solutions, or they can be procured to project specifications.
