Situation
Royal Perth Hospital required the existing generator in A Block is to be replaced with two new larger units. The existing unit was to remain fully operational until the 1st of the two new generators is made operational at which stage the old unit is to be removed and handed back to Royal Perth Hospital.
Solution
Aerison was engaged as the primary contractor to deliver the engineering and design and commissioning works.
The scope included:
- Replace the existing A block emergency generator with 2 x new units to be housed in a purpose-built low noise acoustic enclosure to suit the space restrictions at the site location.
